Jacques Brautbar began his photography journey on the road, documenting life while touring with his band, Phantom Planet. He soon turned his lens toward other musicians, capturing live performances by artists such as Radiohead, The Pixies, and The Flaming Lips. His portraiture work gained recognition, appearing in publications including Rolling Stone, Nylon, Spin, and High Times.

After a hiatus, Jacques returned to photography with renewed passion. He is drawn to the beauty of candid moments and the quiet intensity of portraiture, always seeking to capture something unguarded, honest, and human.
